Remiss

In order, these are the drawin's of the day from the past three days at work. Well, four calendar days, but three work days. This is probably the best drawing of Tengu Man I've ever done. And Layer. And possibly the most entertaining of Rouge the Bat.

Criteria

Okay, so some of the things I've been thinking about while picking these, now that hands are off-limits:
1) shows a detail that's hard to see on the smaller size page
2) doesn't give away what happens on the new page
3) I have to like it.

So, that's it.

It's been hectic around here with me trying to get ready to go on a mission. Whole-day shopping trips, while they may be important, are not super-conducive to posting a lot of stuff. But I did go to work today, so enjoy this guy, even though updates may get a bit more sporadic from here on in.

Design

Sometimes I like it when I come up with a slightly different "model"--both from the original character and my own habits. This one was really fun for me:

It's fun to draw those little swirlies and sparkles. And Mystery Quest is my favorite guy to draw.

Just late-late.

I like when I get to add a little atmosphere. Can I also add that I love this character's torso? It's really nice. Unlike most Megaman characters it flows solidly down to his knees. Very fun to draw.

Wart Removal

Even though the proportions are totally off, I can't tell you how fun it was for me to try and draw a Disney character--especially one of the Milt Kahl/Marc Davis kind of era. Arthur, or "the Wart," is great. That part with the squirrel has always been amazing. And the animation throughout is beautiful. At any rate, this was fun.
